Top 10 essential technology trends you must follow in 2022- The Top 10 Tech Trends In 2022 Everyone Must Be Ready For Now

Even though the COVID-19 pandemic has not ended and the space for human movement will still be limited, the flow of the latest technological developments cannot be stopped. Entering 2022 Gartner has predicted 12 technology trends that are considered to be the power of digital business and increase innovation over the next three to five years.

Gartner’s predictions can help CEOs execute key strategies for business growth, digitization and efficiency. David Groombridge, VP Analyst at Gartner, said: “CEOs need to know that they need to accelerate the adoption of businesses and digital ways to connect with customers .

“However, by taking into account the economic risks that may occur in the future, business owners must protect margins and cash flow to remain stable,” said David Groombridge in an official statement, quoted Thursday (12/23).

David also explained, technological innovation will provide trusted digital connections for people and devices, solutions to quickly increase digital creativity anywhere, and innovative capabilities to accelerate business growth.

What are the top 12 technology trends for 2022? And how important is it?

1. Data Fabric

The data fabric provides flexible and resilient data source integration across platforms and business owners, enabling data to be available wherever it is needed. The data fabric can use analytics to learn and recommend where data should be used and changed. This can reduce data management activities by up to 70 percent.

Its use has already begun, as in the Finnish city of Turku which found that innovation was hampered by gaps in its data. Using  a data fabric  by integrating fragmented data assets, systems can reuse data, reduce time to market by two-thirds, and create monetizable data structures.

2. Cybersecurity Mesh

Cybersecurity mesh is a flexible and scalable architecture to integrate widely distributed and disparate security services. Cybersecurity mesh is the best stand-alone security solution to work together to improve overall security while moving control points closer to assets to be protected.

This method can quickly and reliably verify identity, context, and policy compliance across cloud and non-cloud environments . The goal is to ensure that the security of each access point can be managed effectively from a centralized point of authority. In this way, the mesh can be seen as the centralization of enterprise security policies and the distribution of enforcement of those policies.

3. Privacy-Enhancing Computation

Privacy-Enhancing Computation protects the processing of personal data in a risky environment, which is caused by privacy and data protection laws to a rapidly growing customer focus. This technology uses various privacy-protection techniques to allow value to be extracted from data while meeting compliance requirements .

4. Cloud-Native Platform (CNP)

. Therefore, the technology deployed in 2022 will enable enterprises to shift from traditional deployments to Cloud-Native Platforms  (CNP) to provide effective and flexible digital capabilities.

Cloud-Native Platform is the answer. These technologies enable enterprises to build new application architectures that are resilient , flexible, and agile . With massive utilization, it means that companies can also respond to rapid digital changes. CNP enhances the traditional lift-and-shift approach to cloud technologies .

In terms of efficiency, CNP leverages the key features of  cloud computing  to offer scalable and flexible IT capabilities, resulting in faster uptime and lower costs. 5. Compostable Application

Composable applications are built from business-centric, modular components. Composable applications make it easy to use and reuse code , speed up deployment time to market for new software solutions and launch enterprise value .

6. Decision Intelligence

Decision Intelligence is a practical approach to improve the decision-making process in companies. It models each decision as a series of processes, using intelligence and analytics to inform, study and refine each decision.

Decision intelligence can support and enhance human decision making and automate it through the use of augmented analytics , simulation, and  Artificial Intelligence  (AI).

7. Hyperautomation

Hyperautomation is a business-driven approach to quickly identify, examine and automate as many business and IT processes as possible. Hyperautomation enables scalability, remote operation,  and business model disruption.

These new technologies imply business process optimization at a qualitatively new level, applying innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence and  machine learning .

8. AI Engineering

Many companies have problems with ArtificiaI intelligence (AI) projects due to governance, scalability, and maintainability. AI engineering automates updates to data, models, and applications to simplify AI implementation.

Combined with advanced AI governance , AI engineering will operationalize AI and ensure sustainable business value.

9. Distributed Enterprises

Distributed Enterprises describes a digital-first , remote-first business model for improving the employee experience. In addition, digitizing relationships with customers and touchpoint partners to build a good product experience.

Distributed Enterprises also better serve the needs of remote workers and customers and drive demand for virtualized services and hybrid work environments .

10. Total Experience (TX)

Just like the technology trend in 2021,  total experience  (TX) is predicted to become the technology trend in 2022. TX is one approach to improve the entire range of management of customers and company employees.

Customer experience (CX), employee experience (EX), user experience (UX),  and  multi-experience (MX)  are all part of TX. TX aims to increase customer and employee trust and satisfaction.

TX’s business processes that are adaptive and flexible will increase sales and profits of the company. The implementation of Human Capital Management  (HCM ) solutions  , Customer Relationship Management  (CRM), and  Unifed Communication  is one form of tracking and expressing the TX trend within the company.

11. Autonomic systems

Autonomic systems are self-managed physical or software systems that learn from their own environment and can dynamically modify algorithms in real time to optimize their behavior in complex ecosystems.

Autonomic systems create a suite of technological capabilities that are agile and capable of supporting new requirements and situations, optimizing performance and defending against attacks without human intervention.

12. Generative AI

Generative AI studies historical data and creates innovative new data similar to the original but not the same. This technology has the potential to create new content, such as videos and accelerate research and development (R&D) processes in various fields, from medicine to product manufacturing.

These technology trends are expected to accelerate digital capabilities and drive growth by addressing business challenges for CIOs and heads of IT.

Top 12 Strategic Technology Trends of 2022

Each year, Gartner identifies technology trends that are important to businesses. This year, the list consists of 12 strategic trends that will enable CEOs to deliver growth, digitization, and efficiency and position CIOs and IT executives as strategic partners in organizations.

According to David Groombridge, VP Analyst, Gartner. “CEOs know that they must accelerate digital business adoption and seek more direct digital routes to connect with their customers,” But keeping in mind the future economic risks

Global spending on digital transformation is also expected to jump 20 percent annually to $1.8 trillion this year, according to Statista. Check out the top 12 strategic technology trends for 2022, quoted from Gartner research in the following content.
